「まあまあの映画」の紹介

犯罪がはびこるこの「Sin City」でハーティガンは刑事をやっている。早期退職の予定だったものの、在職最後の日に、11歳の少女が連続強姦魔の餌食になる前に、ハーティガンこの少女を捜そうとする。これは映画の第一章で、話は章によってガラリと変わります。
　この映画はフランク・ミラーの小説を題材にしています。画像が変わっていて、白黒のところに部分的にカラーが使われています。確かに、この映画はその変わった視覚効果によりユニークに見えますが、実際は、全体として大したことはありません。脚本は一般的に退屈で、ついていくのにも一苦労です。章が変わると、話もガラリと変わり、何がなんだかわからなくなります。

In a crime-infested city of Sin City, Hartigan is a cop. He is taking an early retirement. On the last day of his work, he looks for an 11-year old girl before she becomes another victim of a serial child rapist case. That's just chapter one. And the story changes completely.
The movie is based on graphic novels by Frank Miller. It is filmed in black & white with occasionally partial colors. This movie is cool with some nice visual effects. Other than that, it has little value. The entire story is boring and hard to follow. It shifts from one chapter to another, changing the entire cast.
