「まあまあの映画」の紹介

彼等の祖父が死ぬと、両親がそれぞれ違う4人の兄弟は大変なショックを受ける。というのも、彼等は祖父のいない中義理の両親と住まなくてはならないからだ。この4人のうちで一番年上の子供がジョウで、もうすぐ18歳になる。18歳にさえなれば彼はすぐにでも家を出るつもりだ。
　クリスマスの数日前のことだ。ジョウが車の点検をしていると、義理の両親が死んだ祖父の愛犬を（安楽死させるために）保健所に連れて行くところを偶然発見する。そして彼等はジョウが点検していた車に乗って行ってしまう。その後子供達は、そのことが大変な事件に繋がることを知るようになる。

When their grand-father dies, four siblings are very devastated. Now, they have to live with their step-parents. The eldest of all is Joe, who is almost 18 years old and cannot wait to leave the house.
     A few days before Christmas, Joe finds out that his parents have decided to put an old family dog to sleep. And arguments ensues. The parents drive off with the car that Joe was working on. And the kids soon make a terrible discovery.
