「まあまあの映画」の紹介

メイン州で暮らすある4人の子供達は、風変わりな少年がいじめられているところを助ける。数年が経ち、彼らは今でも仲良く付き合っている。道でその4人のうちの１人が怪我をする6ヶ月前、彼らはみんなでキャンプに出かける。森の中で道に迷っている男を助けることになるが、そのことをきっかけに、何もかもがおかしくなる。
　映画の舞台がメイン州ということは…想像できる通り、この映画はスティーブン・キングの小説がもとになっています。この映画のテームは、4人の子供が一緒に成長していく姿をとらえようといているのか、それともただの宇宙人物語なのか、よくわかりません。話は、変な男が森から現れるまでは普通ですが、それから変な方向へと進んでいきます。すると、今度はSFの様相を見せますが、その画像効果にはちょっとがっかりすることでしょう。

Four kids, who grow up together in Maine, one day, save a mysterious boy, from bully boys. Years later, they are still together. Six Months after one of them had an accident on a street, they get together and go on a hunting trip. They happen to save a man who has lost in woods. And things will go totally wrong.
     If the movie is filmed in Maine, you can guess who has written the story. It's based on a novel written by Stephen King. Is this movie about the four kids growing up together or just a cheap alien story? The story goes fine until a man appears out of woods. And it becomes some sort of a science fiction with bad visual effects.
