1. Installing WPWriter

In order to use WPWriter, first, create a folder titled WPWriter or use the one supplied by the software developer and put the application file and its associated files/folders, if any, in it. Failing to do so may cause the HTML window to disable itself and the application to shut down.

2. Uninstalling WPWriter

When you launch WPWriter for the first time, the default folder will be created. The location of the default folder depends on the operating system. For the Mac version of WPWriter, look under 'Users/User/Documents/'. And remove the entire folder titled WPWriter as well as the folder containing the application itself. As for the Windows version, look under 'Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents.'

3. Using WPWriter

WPWriter is like a limited version of Apple's TextEdit. It doesn't even let you change the font and font size. Those functions are not supported because how your WordPress articles look is not immediately important. And the font type and font size are determined by how the WordPress website is set up.

When you use WPWriter, first, simply just write whatever you have as much as you can.

Shown at the top of the Text Edit window, there are about two dozen buttons. In general, there are different groups of buttons. One group of buttons is represented by Left alignment, right alignment, bold, italic, underlined, striken through and paragraph. If you, for example, want to put several words or sentences in center alignment, highlight them at first. Then click on the center alignment button. And the selected sentences will be enclosed by

. Likewise, you'd better select words or sentences at first to use the other buttons that are mentioned earlier. But you don't necessarily have to. You can click on any of those buttons at first and then write words or sentences between the embed signs afterwords.

By the way, in order to preview your work, click on the Preview button. And a simple version of a web browser will pop up and display how your WordPress article looks. This web browser, of course, supports hyperlinks and graphic images.

Some other buttons work a bit differently. And you don't have to select words or sentences. That is, by clicking on any of the buttons in this group, the embed signs will be written, independent of the selected words or setences. For example, if you click on the break button,

will be inserted. In fact, that's the way how you insert a break in WordPress.
