Although we have made a great deal of effort to introduce Version 2, it still wasn't enough. As shown in Screenshot 5-1, previously, the user had to enter numerical values to position watermark text. And we wanted to come up with a better and easier way of allowing the user to position watermark text. So we introduced Auto Pan to Version 2.1.
Auto Pan is a feature that allows the user to freely move watermark text. If you move your Mouse pointer close to watermark text, a red ring will appear. (See Screenshot 5-2.) As you move this ring, watermark text will come along. And wherever you move it, WatermarQue will find the numerical postion of watermark text in real time and fill the vertical and horizontal edit boxes accordingly. On the other hand, in order to manually manipulate vertical and horizontal coordinates, you need to turn off Auto Pan by choosing Auto Pan > Auto Pan Off under Canvas. (See Screenshot 5-3.) By so doing, WatermarQue will stop filling the vertical and horizontal boxes with the coordinates of watermark text position.
Another small change made with Version 2.2 has to do with how you label watermark text. Obviously, the label edit box is very small. If you need more space, click on the check box right below. (See Screenshot 5-5.) And Input Window will pop up. (See Screenshot 5-6.)
Convert is available with Version 2.3.0. It's a simple feature that will allow the user to conver the graphic format of one or more image files to another (bmp, jpg, jpg 2000, png, psd, tiff...). The reason for installing this feature is that the number of export formats is relatively small though we have added 3 more with this update. And it won't support TIFF. Anyway, in order to use Convert, first, click on its Toolbar menu button. (See Screenshot 6-1.) And a small window should open at the center.
In order to batch-convert the graphic format of image files into another, you must tell WatermarQue Plus where you want to export final files and in what format. Under Destination, choose Desktop, Same as file or Else. If you choose Desktop, converted files will be exported to the desktop. If you choose Same as file, they will be exported to the same folder where the source files come from. And, in order to stop the application from writing over existing ones, you must set an affix, which will be appended to the original file name. Or an error symbol will appear. (See Screenshot 6-2.) If you enter one letter or more in the text field under Name suffix, this error symbol will disappear in real time. (See Screenshot 6-3.) Furthermore, if you choose Else, the button right below will become accessible. Clicking on it, you will be able to select a destination folder. (See Screenshot 6-4.)
Finally, if you have set the destination folder and export format, you will see a sign that says 'Ready' right under the drop box to the left. (See Screenshot 6-5.) If you don't see it, you must have one or more validation symbols still shown. If that's the case, dragging and dropping image files onto the drop box will not trigger the application to work on imported files. If you see the Ready sign, on the other hand, simply drag and drop any number of image files at a time onto the drop box. (See Screenshot 6-6.) And WatermarQue Plus will immediately starting processing and generating one converted image after another.
