ViewSQL Pro

Mac software ViewSQL Pro

ViewSQL Pro is developer's edition of ViewRBSQL, a freeware title, which we first introduced in May, 2010.  ViewSQLPro offers an easy way of viewing the contents of encrypted or non-encrypted REALSQL/SQLite database files.  If you have some encrypted REALSQL database files that you repeatedly need to access and read its contents, let ViewSQL Pro store their encryption keys.  By so doing, all you have to do is drag and drop a database file onto a drop box.  Of course, ViewSQL Pro already knows its engryption key.  You can also use ViewSQLPro to create SQLite database files easily.

  • Create SQLite database files.
  • Store encryption keys of encrypted REALSQL database files.
  • View the contents of encrypted/non-encrypted REALSQL/SQLite database files.
  • Edit and export REALSQL/SQLite table as XML file

Version History:

2.1.2 to 2.1.4 (April 3, 2011)

  1. Fix: Due to transition to Mac App Store, the application lost access to a database file, which the application was supposed to read every time user opened Preferences window. Consequently, the application failed to load user database information shown under the View tab.
  2. In order to enhance stability, the application utilizes an encrypted database to store user settings. The user must work on Preferences settings from a scratch. We apologize to existing users for this change.
  3. Inspector: When the user resizes the window, data fields will accordingly expand horizontally.
  4. A few other minor changes are done.

Please note that it may take Mac App Store several days to weeks to approve an update.

2.1.0 to 2.1.2 (March 4, 2011)

  1. The user no longer has to relaunch the application to see changes after adding a new encrypted account record.
  2. The user can now use the Mouse wheel to scroll on the Inspector window.
  3. The user no longer has to wait for one second when they want to quit the application.
  4. The application icon is redesigned.
  5. Several other minor changes are done.

2.0.0 to 2.1.0 (December 15, 2010)

  1. A set of measures is taken to enhance application's compatibility with Snow Leopard.
  2. The application remembers the location where it was last closed.
  3. Preferences: The user can set the starting tab under Settings.
  4. Additional commands are added to the Help menu.
  5. View: Clicking on the Show list, the user is able to see a list of saved database profiles.
  6. Other several minor changes are made.
