Installing and uninstalling QuickMask

Please read the README file that comes with the application.

Using QuickMask

There isn't much to explain about how to use QuickMask.  After launching the application, drag and drop an image file (PICT, PNG or TIFF) onto the drop box.  This drop box will turn itself into a preview window and display a resized preview of the image file you have imported.

The minimum dimensions of the image for QuickMask to display a resized picture are 256 x 256 pixels.  If either width or height of the imported image is smaller than 256 pixels, then QuickMask will instead display a default image that says 'Preview Not Available.'

If you click on the Show button, QuickMask will just locate the file you have just imported and show it to you.

Finally, click on the Export button on the Toolbar menu.  You will be prompted to locate a destination where to save a new image file.  Whatever you name the file, an extension of .jpg will be added.
