D. Updates

a) Version 1.4.0

With this update, users are able to frame movie snapshots.  Another minor update causes the application to validate the rescale width and height as well as frame width and height in real time.

You may notice that the Export settings window looks a little bit different.  You now have a check box and a new width field and a height field right below the Unscaled radio button.  Enable this check box if you want to frame movie snapshots.  And if you want to frame movie snapshots, enter width and height values.  These values will be validated in real time.  So if you leave either of them blank, you will see a small 'x' simbol to the right.  When you export a movie snapshot, these numbers will be added to the original width and height.  For example, if the original width and height of the movie are 960 and 600 pixels, an exported snapshot will have a resolution of 960 + x and 600 + y, where x and y are the frame width and height you've defined.  In our example above, the framed snapshot has a resolution of 1,010 x 650 pixels.

Note that if you choose to frame movie snapshots, you cannot rescale them.  Furthermore, if you want to change the frame color, you can do so by opening Preferences, switching the tab to Export.  Enable the check button below the Unscaled radio button so that the color button can be clickable.  Then you can choose a frame color of your choice by clicking on it.
