This section shows information on how visitors coming to MacHouse websites can obtain a membership for video tutorials.  In order to watch members-only video tutorials, you will need a membership.  Obtaining a blog account doesn't make you a member.  You may want to explore FAQ for Video Viewers for more specific questions and answers.

We have revised most of our QuickTime-based videos, and users of QuickTime 7.1.3 (QuickTime 7.2 recommended) or higher should not encounter the playback issue with videos of long durations any more.

• August 23, 2007  Because of Apple's inability and failure to fix MakeRefMovie, we have been obliged to make a drastic measure.  As a consequence, we have no QuickTime-based video tutorial that points to a referencere file.  Therefore, there is no more QuickTime playback issue for those who live in Europe or outside the NTSC region.
• August 20, 2007  Many of the QuickTime-based video tutorials are now compatible with QuickTime 7.2 only.  Those who live in western Europe may have a QuickTime compatibility problem.
