5-1 Changes with Version 1.1.0

There are numerious changes that have been made to the application with this update.  (See Version History for more information.)  You can see a major change when you enter a new e-mail address under eVerify or a new URL under uVerify.

When you click on the New button under eVerify (See Screenshot 5-01.), a partial window will pop up.  And you will be prompted to enter an e-mail address.  As for eVerify, furthermore, if you have enabled 'Set minimum number' and/or 'No space allowed' in Preferences, these requirements will be verified at this stage.  For example, if you require that the minimum number of characters in a username be enforced and that it be at least 6, your entering an e-mail address that does not meet this requirement would trigger a warning message below the edit field.  (See Screenshot 5-02.)  Likewise, if you require that the e-mail address not contain space, you would see a similar warning message when an e-mail address does not meet this requirement.  With an invalid e-mail address present, the Okay button will be grayed out.  This button can be inaccessible for other reasons.  For example, an e-mail address must have the 'at' sign.  Anyway, if you revise an e-mail address to meet these requirements, those warning messages will disappear, and the Okay button will become accessible.  (See Screenshot 5-03.)

6-1 Changes with Version 1.2.0

A major feature of this software update is application's ability to read text files containing e-mail addresses for eVerify and URLs for uVerify.  If you have a simple text file (.txt), it'll be just the matter of choosing File > Open Text and selecting a file.  If you have a Microsoft Excel workbook, just as shown in Screenshot 6-01, you can easily generate a text file that iVerify can read.

In order to generate a text file out of an Microsoft Excel workbook, first, make sure that you've selected the right sheet like Sheet1.  Remember that you need to have all e-mail addresses (or URLs for uVerify) under Column 1 in a given sheet.  If necessary, delete other columns.  Then choose File > Save As.  Before naming a file, you need to click on the Format drop-down menu and choose Tab Delimited Text (.txt).  (See Screenshot 6-02.)  If you get a message dialog shown in Screenshot 6-03, you can just click on Continue and then close the worksheet without saving changes to the current file.

With a text file to open, under eVerify, choose File > Open Text.  (See Screenshot 6-04.)  Then you will just need to select a text file to open as shown in Screenshot 6-05.  And new e-mail addresses will be appended to the list if you had some e-mail addresses.

Note that iVerify will read e-mail addresses across multiple columns as one if you have failed to have just one column in a given sheet when converting an Excel workbook into a text file.  In such case, you will have no choice but to click on Edit and correct an e-mail address individually.  (See Screenshot 6-07.)  Finally, you can click on Verify and run a verification process as shown in Screenshot 6-08.
