| inVIZible |
1. Installation In order to use inVIZible, it'll be better to create a folder with any name at first. Then put a copy of inVIZible in it. That's all. When you launch it for the first time, inVIZible will create a file titled mydata.ivz. When you update mydata.ivz, you need to leave this file intact by only replacing the application file itself. In this way, you won't lose the list of files and folders you have created with a previous version of inVIZible.
2. Using inVIZible Honestly, there isn't much to say about how inVIZible works. Simply, drag and drop a file onto the application window.
If the file is visible, then the state will be set to 0. If it's invisible, then it will be set to 1. After dragging and dropping a file, click on the Hide button. If you do, you can make it disppear. It's invisible to others. But inVIZible tells you where it is even after closing the application. If a file is already hidden, then click on the Unhide button to make it visible. There are two more buttons. Locate lets you locate a file with the open window. Unfortunately, the initial version of inVIZible will not display invisible files.
If you want to stop keeping track of a particular file, then select it and press Delist. And the file will be dropped from the list. inVIZible 1.0.1 also allows users to make not just files but also folders visible/invisible. Simply, drag and drop folders to the application window and click on 'Hide' or 'Unhide.'
inVIZible comes with the same Preferences menu. If you want to keep your visible/invisible list away from others. Set a login password. For more questions, please read A-Cownts' user's guide. |
