We have contacted most of the academic institutions running the websites that are exploited for affiliate spam. If their websites still contain affiliate spam pages, then that's their decision to ignore our kind notifications. It's not our failure to inform them. MacHouse has no authority in determining what should be displayed on their websites and removing them if inappropriate. MacHouse is not responsible for contacting any of the victims about their affiliate spam problems. We are not able of sending an e-mail message to several dozen academic institutions a day. Doing so wouldn't not pay our bills for sure. A majority of academic institutions never bothered to write back and thanked us in the past, anyway.
